Your Delivery

Admission/Check-in

The Admitting Department is open Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm and is located adjacent to the hospital lobby. 

Your pre-registration information will be verified prior to escorting you to the Birthplace. Should you go into labor after regular business hours or during a weekend you will use the Emergency Department Entrance on the North side of the hospital. 

Private Birthing Suites

Our labor, delivery post partum and recovery suites are designed to provide comfort, privacy and support for you and your coach. Each spacious room is equipped with a state of the art perinatal documentation system.  The OBIX system provides your physician with remote access to your labor progress. 

We encourage you and your coach to visit the Tulare Regional Medical Center Birthplace prior to your labor.  One of our labor and delivery staff members will be happy to provide you with a tour to familiarize you with our services and the support you will receive during your stay.  Please call 559.688.0821 x 3590, to schedule your personalized Stork Tour.

Breastfeeding Services

Research supports Breastfeeding for the health of your child.  Our specially trained nurses and lactation specialists will help you get started immediately.  After you and your baby have left the hospital our lactation specialists are available to provide you with further breast feeding support through the breastfeeding support line, 559.684.4504. 

Infant Security

Tulare Regional Medical Center has several procedures in place to ensure the safety of your baby.  These procedures will be explained during your Stork Tour or after you are admitted.
