Tulare Regional Medical Center's Perinatal Services Staff knows all about new beginnings. Delivering more than 100 babies a month, the team of obstetrics doctors and nurses has become a regional home for people starting or growing their families. We are also home to groundbreaking new perinatal programs, including "skin to skin," in which mother and baby are given private time immediately after birth to bond. Bonding research shows a powerful impact on the future health of both mom and baby. Aside from the human touch, our Perinatal Services team utilize the industry's latest technology to aid their work, including the Obix data management system, allowing for more comprehensive patient monitoring and remote access for offsite physicians.
