CAP Accreditation Received 11/02/2012 Tulare, California September 26, 2011 – Tulare Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce our most recent national accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Mineral King Toxicology Laboratory, a division of Tulare Regional Medical Center, has earned Forensic Drug Testing (FDT) Accreditation Program Standards from the College of American Pathologists.
Mineral King Toxicology Laboratory is one of only four Forensic Drug Testing CAP accredited laboratory’s in all of California. Tulare Regional Medical Center has the only FDT CAP laboratory performing testing in Central and Northern California. Forty-three laboratories in the Nation are FDT CAP Accredited.

Tulare Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in the Central Valley with two national healthcare accreditations; the Joint Commission and DNV Healthcare, inc. and the only hospital in the Central Valley with Forensic Drug Test Accreditation from the College of American Pathologists.
